Lynchburg Trip The staff was friendly, but the room was so heavily filled with smoke. I had requested a smoke-free room, but upon arrival it was not available. Elevator was dirty. Everything else was average. It was way too expensive for the condition the hotel was in.

Disappointment I had to go a whoke night/ day with a broken toilet. Ended up having to change rooms.

No water, fire alarm went off 4 times in two days Terrible, nice staff, horrible hotel, room not clean, fire alarm in the middle of the night 3 out of 4 nites, no water the first nite, manager non responsive, won't stay there again

It was a terrible experience for me. I booked for a non smoking room but the room smelled cigarette. It was awful. The bathroom was filthy, the air vent in the bathroom was so loud, the carpet was disgusting. I requested to move to another room because I couldn't stand the smell of the cigarette in my room. I even found a lighter underneath the table.

Noooooo Dont do it!! I was visiting my son at Liberty University. The location was excellent because it was right next to Liberty. It looked nice from the outside. I knew i wouldnt be spending much time at the hotel so i figured I would try it. Needing updated is an understatement. There was broken tile in the hall outside the elevator. The room was not clean. The maid must have combed her hair in the bathroom instead of cleaning it because there was hair all over our sink, tub and floor. We had a half roll of toilet paper. ... read more

DIRTY but friendly staff Upon arrival at the hotel I was greeted by friendly staff members. However, when I went to my room I found it dirty! I called the front desk and they moved me to another room, however, I found this one dirty as well! The person manning the main desk immediately apologized and gave me a room key to go look at another room and decide if I wanted it. I took the room as it appeared clean. However, come morning I found a dirty q-tip on the window sill and someone else's hair in the shower.

Stay at best western. For what i paid it was far from worth the money. Pillows were awful, if you want to call them pillows. Bed was hard, but for some that would be a plus. The room smelled funny. The toilet had issues flushing. Not even a hair dryer was in the room. Not even conditioner. I paid for a bad's night sleep. The air made a loud noise every time it came on and so did the fridge.

Convenient To Liberty University I've stayed here before, but the service and hotel's appearance has gone down a great deal in the last 2 years. You have to ask for kitchen supplies, such as pans, dishes, etc. as there is nothing in the room. I asked the desk clerk for some and he told me to call down from the room. I did so and after an hour called back several times and got no answer. I had to leave a message and it was only about 7 pm. I ended up having to go to the Front Desk and ask for some. Very Disappointed The room floor was stained. The room smelled of smoke even though I requested non smoking. I will never stay in this place ever again. I will also tell my friends not too stay at this hotel.
