There was no hot water in the bathroom sink, and the outlet in the bathroom did not work.

Key making machine was down when I arrived so front desk person had to escort me to my room every time I wanted access.

Ok, but very little interaction with Staff Nice room and facility, staff was not the most friendly, almost rude
Being next to a university campus and close to Lynchburg I expected some information, a map of the campus and a map of Lynchburg. What I got was "you can look it up online". The desk clerk on duty when we arrived was unaware of a restaurant down University Blvd. Are there any tourist/visitor type magazines advertising local shops I find everywhere I stay? perhaps you should find one.
