Great location Memphis is a bit iffy in that it is somewhat dangerous anywhere you go. This hotel is off the main roadway which makes it more secure than the ones located on Poplar. That said, there are some rough people staying there. On Saturday morning at 9:00am there were four men drinking beer in front of the hotel and asking me about casinos. Another couple jumped out of there car and asked me for cigarettes. That sort of thing is typical of Memphis, so I wasn't taken aback by it. Lock your car and remove EVERYTHING fr... read more
Average The room was average. Nothing special at all. Don't be fool by the nice pictures. The only new thing in the room was the TV. My a/c unit was unplugged. I had to plug it up myself. The next morning I found out it had leaked water two feet from the unit. Other than that you get what you pay for.
Eh - okay for the price I paid... Cheap hotel, kind of noisy. The window coverings fell down when I tried to close the blinds so people couldn't see in since I was on the 1st floor. Could hear people through the floors and all the water running around me. Also people in the hallway and doors slamming.
Nice area, convenient to poplar ave The lady that checked me in was super nice and helpful! Comfy bed and all appliances worked. Felt like my car was safe in the parking lot. Multiple stores and restaurants close by.
