Average hotel for the traveler I thought there would be items like plates, glasses, utensils, coffee maker, & pans being it's got a kitchenette. I was wrong, there was nothing at all. Just empty cabinets & drawers. What's the point?

Close to Shops Located close to supermarket and other shops. Room as neat, breakfast supplied was simple but was all we needed and staff were friendly and helpful.
Let us Smoke Love it! Was disappointed to hear that they might be going non-smoking. Home away from Home is hard to find if you smoke ... Leave it as a smoking hotel please.
Good hotel It was comfortable and clean. For a decent price it's not bad at all, there's even a kitchen. I love the area it's in.
Nothing fancy, but an OK hotel. I had a business week in the Emeryville area, and stayed at Extended Stay. Reading the other reviews I would say my expectations were on par with the experience I had. The hotel it self is OK, the portiers offered the service I would expect. The only suprise on I got was that the kitchen was completely empty, no dishes, silverware or cookware, even though that is one of their selling points that one is supposed to be able to cook ones own meals. One of the few decent places in Oakland. I have stayed there a lot over the years. Its consistant if nothing else.
