Nothing fancy, but an OK hotel. I had a business week in the Emeryville area, and stayed at Extended Stay. Reading the other reviews I would say my expectations were on par with the experience I had. The hotel it self is OK, the portiers offered the service I would expect. The only suprise on I got was that the kitchen was completely empty, no dishes, silverware or cookware, even though that is one of their selling points that one is supposed to be able to cook ones own meals. One of the few decent places in Oakland. I have stayed there a lot over the years. Its consistant if nothing else.

Maint need to fix lites . Toilet lid

Just okay Nothing special about this hotel. On arrival we ask for a non smoking room and it smelled like a smoking room. Also in the bathroom we found hair and it smelled like urine on the flor so we walked across the street to buy candles and cleaning products

Good hotel Good hotel, sketchy area though. But stayed there just to visit San Fran so just being there to sleep it worked out really well. About 20 minutes away from downtown San Fran.
Hotel review The staff was good and friendly. The building is fine nothing special no real amenities. That was ok we are not about the hotel. Extended stay do your own thing is what we wanted and the hotel satisfied that. Location for Oco Coliseum, Berkeley, Oakland and SF is perfect if that is your plans. We were in all of the above and it was as good a location as could be. If you go there ask for rooms in the front of the building or you get the Freeway noise. We had the front and it was fine. This place was much better than all the negative reviews it has received. Our room was clean and satisfactory all around. Right next to Target and other shops. It was much better than we expected.
