Bed was very comfortable Hallways and rooms clean but the kitchen and bath areas need to be updated. Floors old and worn, grout in bathroom missing - no exhaust fan in bathroom.

The Homstead Hotel in Great Valley, Malvern , PA Nice central location, but a right in-right out car access only. This means you have to go around the block and approach the hotel from the opposite direction, until you figure out the roads. I requested and recieved a non-smoking room, but the corridor smelled of smokers, and the room had a smokers odor also, probably migrating from some of the adjacent smoking rooms. Nice Hotel, Poor Mattress The location was good, the staff was nice, the amenities were good, but the mattress was awful! Hard as a rock and I ended up sleeping on the sofa because it was more comfortable.

Dissapointing stay We were disappointed in this property. We booked a "suite" and got a quite large room with a well-furnished kitchen, a sofa with rips in the upholstery, bedsheets that were threadbare and did not fit all the way around the mattress, so we awoke in the morning with the sheets bunched up and partially off the mattress. The sink faucet leaked (got it fixed promptly), and a toilet seat that was loose and tended to slip aside. Was not aware there was no housekeeping service and no toiletries.
