good value for money in an area of expensive hotels

Near shopping, food & Mayo Clinic Tv was watchable but was tilted down and unable to tilt back up-broken stand, wad of (what looked like) drain hair was left in the toilet, toilet needed to be double flushed, room needs an update. Friendly check in, walking distance to mall and plenty of options to eat, felt safe, near mayo clinic.

Basic Accommodations The hotel has all the basics. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There is nothing up scale about this hotel especially being in Scottsdale. The surrounding area had plenty of restaurants and shopping. For the money we paid here could have spent a few dollars more for upscale & updated place. Would rate this hotel form a 2 to 2.5 for basic needs.
