Feeling safe and clean By far the best kept of the hotel chain my GF and I have stayed in. Definitely would go back

Sketchey people in parking lot, lobby, seems to have "in transition" guests rather than travelers. That's great but wasn't expecting that.
I needed a hotel to stay for one night and after looking at several reviews and comparing prices, I settled on Extended Stay. The hotel sits in the back of a small shopping center off of the highway. Staff was friendly and accommodating but the rooms were lacking in amenities and the hotel had an odd odor. Next time I will spend a little bit more for a hotel if I need to stay in the area.
The room was clean overall but dated and dirty in places.
