Old Building and Stale Air The building was old, which isn't a problem. The problem is that its not in great shape and the whole hotel smells like stale cigarettes. Unfortunately you can't even get away from the smell in your rooms. Wouldn't recommend staying here unless you're really strapped for cash or its the only place available.

Extended Stay America Portland - Beaverton Room was listed as being "non-smoking" room but bathroom smelled like cigarettes. Walls were thin as I could hear the guy in the next room snoring all night. I doubt I will stay there again.

Misleading ?? I paid for a small "suite" with a queen-sized bed for me and my spouse. We chose ESA because they allow pets, and are comfortable. However, when we checked in, we learned the hotel was full for the night, so, while I had requested a smoking room which put us on the third floor, we changed our minds and wanted a first-floor room due to our dogs. 6/1 stay The whole hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. I was given a smoking room. I was too tired to call other hotels in the area so I took it. I was also charged a 4.99 access charge for internet when I was told it was complimentary.

Comfortable It was clean and comfortable. I felt safe. It was convenient. My only complaint was that the hard surface floor was sticky--probably not well rinsed by the housekeeping staff.
