Just Surprised We were surprised that nothing was furnished with the room, such as lotion, shampoo or even a hair dryer. We were also surprised that the desk was not staffed at 6:50 AM when we wanted to check out. For a plain room it was clean and serviceable. Front desk personnel at night was great! I guess we got what we paid for.

Extended Stay America Beaverton I remember getting in at midnight and was ready for a good nights sleep but was extremely disappointed. It was difficult to sleep because the bed was extremely hard. I thought I was laying on the box springs instead of the mattress. I could hear the people above me all to well and they were making noise for many hours past midnight. I got up in the morning and my arms and legs were itching. I was scheduled to stay 5 days but I only stayed one night.

better call for non smoking and dog rates when we reserved there was no place to request non smoking so we put it as a comment, which the hotel ignored completely. There was also no place to request pet accomidations or mention of cost. When we got there they nicked us for $25 dollars. more than twice where anyone else has charged us in the past. won't be back there "ever".

Not up to par It was not encouraging when we phoned the front desk and reported the toilet as plugged and then response was to hand us a plunger and bucket. I realize it was in the evening but I would have thought they would follow-up the next day. The sheets were yellowed and the towels very rough.

Rudest people in the World Young snotty acting know it alls who don't have a single inkling of an idea of what customer service is about. As rude as can be, to the point where I just wanted to check out. I spent another two days in the Beaverton area but checked into another motel. Here is just an example. Mary one of the know it all receptionist called my room at 9:10 pm just to ask me if I was checking out tomorrow. She said she needed to know so she could update my file. Disgusting We requested a non-smoking room. We got a smoking room. We checked in around 11pm, and they were unable to move us to a non-smoking because there was no "qualified staff" to make the change we requested. The next morning the "qualified staff" was not at all apologetic and unable to help in any way. We had booked 2 nights at that hotel, and did not stay the next night.
