The staff was friendly and helpful when called upon. The room was clean and very spacious. The kitchenette was perfect for me to cook dinner each night for me and my son. The laundry room on site was great. Every night I was woken up by slamming doors. I was above the lobby and main entrance. There were always people hanging out in front of the hotel and around 3am and it would wake me up with people going in and out of the hotel entrance. Comfortable stay in the outskirts of Portland, on my way back to Vancouver, BC from Crater Lake National Park. Nice place to split up the driving and also a perfect launchpad for exploring Cannon Beach. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was piping hot with really good water pressure! Appreciated having a large fridge, freezer and microwave. Pros: the property is modern and nicely appointed, in a fairly nice section of Gresham. The room was modern, nice furniture, comfy bed. Cons: noisy. The people in the room above us thumped/bumped until well after midnight (yeah I know the hotel management can't do much about that). There was a LOT of noise from the hallway all night long - people opening/closing room doors, talking loudly. Cool staff Staff was very polite and kind. Upon checking in, the gal went and got the supervisor. He told me, that the room we had, the TV didn't work. So he was going to put me in a different room, and i told him, no, it's alright. I'm OK without a TV. In return, he told me, for having a good attitude, he was going to give me a coupon for a free nights stay at any extended stay.
