Basic, clean, comfortable Initially we were put off by the smell of a previous guest's pet (dog) in the room. We weren't able to change to another room because, we were told, all rooms were booked. It didn't appear to be that way, although many rooms were occupied. After twenty minutes, with the windows open, the smell was no longer noticeable. We thereafter enjoyed our stay. Extended Stay Hotel - Oakland The front desk staff was so helpful and friendly. The area was nice right on the water.

basic clean accomodations with kitchenette Pro: Overall the hotel is clean, quiet, and well kept in safe neighborhood adjacent to Marina Village Marina. Con: Water pressure drops to literally nothing after about 6 minutes showering. Wifi did not work at all. Don't forget to "ask" for toiletries because there is only a bar of soap in the room.

Went to a concert at the Fox and needed a place to crash. Hotel was much better than we anticipated. It is located right on the harbor and was very nice and quiet. Nicole who checked us in was awesome! She noticed we had booked 2 rooms and made sure we were next door to each other. Alameda is a nice safe place to stay in the Oakland area, I would definately recommend this hotel.

Second stay I've stayed with my wife at this hotel twice now. It's quiet and in a good location for business in Oakland.

Fantastic view The view out our window towards the harbor was fantastic, neighborhood fun to walk in, quiet....shopping center has a Lucky's Foods and a CRV....and a dollar store, easy public transportation....had a great stay.....all services helpful.

ok for short stay Staff was very professional & helpful. Room was clean except the tub didn't look clean nor the dishes. I've stayed here before and there was a hair dryer,soap, shampoo etc in the room. I had to call and ask for these items. At the very least there should be a bar of soap to wash your hands.

Das Hotel an sich ist wirklich gut. Die Lage ist etwas abseits aber nett an einem Yachthafen. 10 Minuten zu Fuß oder 3 mit dem Auto entfernt liegt eine kleine Einkaufpassage, in der es auch einige Restaurants bzw. Diners und Fastfood gibt. Leider hatten wir ein kleines Problem mit dem Zimmer. Wir hatten ein Studio mit King-Bett reserviert. Leider hat man uns dann ein Studio mit Queen-Bett gegeben. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, dass kein Studio mit King-Bett mehr verfügbar war. Da wir damit nicht einverstanden waren, suchte die durc... read more
