I was a little nervous after reading some of the other reviews but I didn't really encounter the negative things they did. The place is close to some tent encampments off the highway but homelessness is a huge problem in Portland. I did not feel unsafe. The room was clean. The first floor hallway was a bit smelly but I figured with pets allowed they may have had to do some clean-up over time. "Best" costumer service Hands down best costumer service I have rescieved at a hotel ever. Jamie checked myself and boyfriend in and was super nice and accommodating. She gave us an upgrade and she also gave us choices for certain things. She made things that seem to be extremely difficult for any other hotel front desk worker seem so easy. She was so good to us we just booked another stay with this hotel because of her outstanding costumer service.
