The hotel was very nice. The homeless people camping nearby was not so nice. The fact that the lady behind the desk had to unlock the front door to let my family in because the hotel has been robbed a couple times in the last week was alarming, but not too surprising given the location (lawless Portland). Would stay again if the city cleans out the scum.

Thank you for your comments. I am not sure where you received your information from but we have not been robbed even once over the last couple months! The homeless encampment is in the process of being removed. We do keep the front door locked at 11pm for your safety as well as our employee's safety. We walk our hotel several times throughout the audit shift so we would not leave the doors unlocked during that time anyway. There is a large homeless camp adjacent to the hotel. The front door to the hotel is not secured after hours, anyone can enter. The elevator is not secured to allow only guest use. If I was traveling alone I would be very concerned about safety.

The entrance was difficult to find. The staff was annoyed to have to get me fresh towels.

The room was clean and comfortable. Parking is free and plenty of it. The hotel is safe but noticed homeless around the area. Pet friendly hotel which I appreciate. Continental breakfast provided.

The hotel was very nice - good sized rooms and clean. The luggage carts made it easy to go from parking lot to room. Breakfast, however, was sub-standard; very few choices, no self-serve, most machines out of service, lack luster and sterile. Not at all appealing in mood or taste.

Staff very helpful. Breakfast was okay but they ran out before 9:00 on weekend

The room was spacious and clean, room service was not good, breakfast was not that great.
