This isn’t a very safe neighborhood, but the hotel itself is very nice. Huge room, modern furnishings, coffee service, lots of amenities. Much better than I expected.
Nice hotel and getting remodel
The hotel itself is exactly what is advertised. A no nonsense budget hotel with breakfast included. The property is dated but undergoing renovations. As for the surrounding area… I’ve stayed in this area (Delta Park) three times over the last 2 years. It feels very unsafe. It’s getting worse. Even Walmart has left. If you’re looking for a hotel close to Portland International Raceway and you can handle the neighbourhood, then this is your spot.
The area around this hotel has lots of homeless people pushing carts. Doesn't feel like a safe area, my wife did not want to walk even a couple blocks away.
