We Won't be Returning to This Hotel We checked in at 2:45 PM to drop off our things and went to Providence to visit our daughter without inspecting the room. We came back at around 10:00 PM and saw that the trash can in the kitchen area had not been cleaned out. The nightstand had something really sticky on the surface --- someone must have spilled a drink on it. The table surfaces were not dusted off. Not the best, but not the worst We came very late at night (I called ahead and told them to expect us after midnight) and there was nobody working the front desk. We called numerous times and knocked on the front door (we couldn't get into the lobby for safety purposes) and were completely ignored. Finally, after practically breaking down the front door a woman came out of the laundry room and checked us in. She never even apologized for totally ignoring us. Dissapointing! Rooms very outdated and different than pictured. Not enough clothing storage for an extended stay hotel. Hallways smell from pets being allowed. Poop in grass everywhere outside. Uncomfortable beds. Not at all what was pictured when booked. Would never return!

disappointed I was dissappointed with my stay at this hotel. We orginally booked rooms with 2 beds, only to find the rooms had one bed and pullout sofa. the mattress on the pullout sofa had several stains, which is very unsanitary. the hotel was fully booked therefore we could not change rooms. the garbage disposal was broken causing the sink to clog up each time you tried to use it. there were no sheets for pullout bed in the room, we had to call the front desk and go and get them ourselves, and the hotel had no extra black... read more

Will not stay again The front desk staff is not very friendly and is rarely available at the front desk. The hotel is outdated on the inside, and was not especially clean. The mattresses are awful, and the cooking utensils consisted of two plates and one fork. Also, beware of the advertisement for free continental breakfast. The breakfast only includes a cereal or granola bar with coffee. Overall, the hotel is mediocre and you "get what you pay for"........which is not much.

thin walls no sleep I think someone was smoking in the next room over. The beds are so uncomfortable. I woke up several times and the couch is very dirty.

Homestead Providence This hotel should not have the name Providence attached to it- as it is a nearly 20 minute drive to the edge of Providence. Its location is close to nothing, but I suppose provides a base for seeing the area between Providence and Newport, RI. It is not easy to find, being tucked behind several other businesses on a dead-end street. It was quiet though. The breakfast was typical of this kind of hotel- lots of white bread options........

Poor room service I was a little disappointed of how small the room was considering it was a suite. There were 3 of us staying in the room & it was a little tight. I was not happy that because we stay less than 7 days there were no room service provided, that was not something I was told before hand, we had to make our own bed & take out the trash our self. Didn't find there was much to do in the area besides the mall. However the staff were wonderful & very accommodating.

Don't stay here if you need transportation Although this hotel puts "Airport" in its name, it is not very close to TF Green (or anything else of interest to a traveler). The website says it provides an airport shuttle. But when I called to ask to be picked up at the airport, I was told I needed to reserve the shuttle 24 hrs in advance. Then when I tried to advance-book an 8:15 am shuttle for a morning flight, I was told (around 8 am) that no one would be able to take me to the airport until 9:30.
