close to University There are two Extended Stay Americas… I was placed in the older one. It was clean, anything you needed there, but antiquated. Floor was concrete with no padding…old rug. I was in a handicapped room (last one left as I checked in late). Floor in bathroom not splendidly clean.

Richmond The hotel is close to the train station, but you have to take a taxi to some places, as the bus goes only downtown.

I would stay again The room was very clean but it did have an awkward smell.

Nice place to stay in Richmond There are two Extended Stays in the same parking area, so of course we got confused and went to the wrong one. Clearly it happens a lot, so it wasn't a problem. The room had everything we could have needed. I was impressed that the kitchenette even had a 2-burner stovetop. The beds were uncomfortable and the rooms weren't very well insulated for noise, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Good enough We were passing through with our dog and this hotel is pet friendly. It wasn't spotless but it was clean enough for one night.

no parking stayed here before and loved it. This time they cleaned the parking lot and covered my car with leaves and dust. It was a MESS. Also asked for a room I could get parking close by, but when I got in at 11pm from work, there was no parking near by. Room was fine, nice amenities, comfy bed. etc, etc. Guess they can't be great everytime. Next time use a leaf vacuum instead of leaf blower would be nice.

There was some little cockroaches. But overall the hotel is great. I always like Extended Stay America.
