The location and parking was good.\n\nIt was really dirty. A washcloth left on the rod the shower curtain hangs on, change on the floor and garbage in the kitchen can. It also stunk terribly from someone that cooked in the room prior to my stay. The service was terriblr.

Location, cleaniness\n\nNo one ever picks up the front desk phone. Kept on calling for some utensils and towels. Prior to my arrival I had a few questions and again it took a long time before anyone picked up the phone. I had to call multiple times before anyone picked.up.

Front desk staff was great, parking was easy.\n\nOur room smelled really bad upon arrival. We left the windows cracked every day, all day, and the smell never dissipated . The hall carpets were filthy and smelled bad. No daily housekeeping.

Anywhere west of the I5 is a good location in Carlsbad\n\nExtremely loud thuds and vibrations throughout hotel. Hard wood floors and thin construction make for an almost impossible night sleep as anyone moving on the floor above you makes the worst percussion sounds in your room - all night long.

worst hotel ever My worst hotel experience ever. Room smells, housekeeping service is not provided unless you are staying for seven days (they don't replace towels, sheets, soap, take out garbage etc.), ask for towels they don't show up, call front dest nobody answers. I asked there is only one person on duty at 6:00 pm in the evening. All at $166.99 per night on Memorial day weekend 2012. I was going to stay 3...

Close to beach. Cheap. Is what it is. Cheap near the beach. Not the four seasons. Try the surf inn at this price. Its on pch!

For the price of a room at this… For the price of a room at this particular hotel, you would think they would be updated with a television or maybe replace it with a LCD/Plasma t.v. Also carpet was old and stale. Sheets and bedspread in the bed were old and thin! I was basically unsatisfied for the $100 bucks I paid for a room at this motel!!
