a place to relax Extended Stay Carlsbad by the Sea was very accessible from the 5 freeway. Denny's was a stone's throw away, but if you want to eat somewhere else, restaurants were a few blocks away. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. An outlet was 2 exits away - a great place to shop.

Has an expensive set of headphones turn up missing, stuff unaccountable for a week to speak to the right person. Broken beer bottles and HUMAN WASTE in parking lot\n\nFinders keepers policy

Location was fine\n\nThe first room we checked into had soapy water all over the floor. And the replacement had a shower wand that we were unable to attach to the wall because it's anchor was broken. The laminate flooring was dirty and noisy with unattened dog next door.

Location was ok, but next to freeway so a bit noisy.\n\nThere was not a mattress pad on the bed, the mattress was stinky and had several yellow stains. The carpet was also dirty and full of stains. If you like a clean room, definitely would not recommend.

Nice pool and good location\n\nRoom smelled terrible of old and new animal odor and urine. Had to request rollaway 4x before it came. Workers avoided doing work whenever possible.

The amenities like full size refrigerator, size of rooms, and location.\n\nNot enough towels, room was incomplete of towels, & toilet paper,

There was almost nothing redeeming about this hotel.\n\none had one bed available for a reservation for 3. no cots or pullouts. room and hotel were very grungy and dirty, with terrible graffiti through out room, including a lamp painted with the word "Evil"!! this was an AWFUL choice for my young son and us.

Friendly staff\n\nRoom located next to freeway...the traffic noise was loud through the night making it difficult to sleep.
