Room has kitchenette and we could walk through Carlsbad Village and to the beach in 20 minutes.\n\nBig: The room in the non-smoking hotel had an aroma like someone smoked pot in there. Floors, drawers, & cabinets were dirty & there was hair on the beds. Small: Supplies for kitchen have to be requested. Only 3 towels provided yet we had 4 people.

The location at Carlsbad Village-\n\nThe service and hospitality was not at its best. The staff was not informative of area and happening events. The restroom toilet seat was broke and was not fixed when we asked.

Proximity to everything. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.\n\nOne of the mesh chairs was very dirty but they removed it immediately.
