Great stay The new renovations were nice, minus a few light switches that took a few twists to turn on. The location was within driving to great restaurants and the freeway. Not ideal for walking into town shops, a bit too far. But free wifi was nice and large kitchen area with full size fridge. Don't expect a big breakfast, but they did offer granola bars, muffins, and coffee each morning.
nice place - good value nice enough place, good location near 101, nice TV, clean, good little kitchen area. Seems as if ownership is skimping a bit though. Very few dishes and utensils, glasses, etc. No shampoo or conditioner, as mentioned by several reviews (they still haven't fixed that). However, for the price paid on a Saturday night, I am still pleased and will likely stay here again if the situation arises.
The location of the hotel was conveniently located for our particular purpose. I found the room to be extremely clean. however, I was not satistied the view out of our window, which was a parking lot full of old cars and trucks, not a pretty sight. I was also disappointed that there were not basic amenties present in the bathroom. We were in need of shampoo and conditioner and when we requested these items we were told that we had to go to the front desk ourselves to pick them up. Noisy, doors slamming in the middle of the night. room was not very clean, was a ok place to stay esp. with our dog. day staff was friendly and helpful.
The quality and amount of eating and cooking implements were lacking. It was difficult to get any help at the front desk at night because only one person was staffing the hotel at that time.
Very friendly, clean and quiet. I will change plans and stay there when in Menlo Park!
