Stay in the upgraded end units.. They're nice Sad that I had to stay here over the years. But at least it's there. A lot of people in the area have extremely difficult parents and rents are very high.. Leaving this a viable alternative for homeless 30 somethings. It's not like we look back ten years later and say "wow those sure were good times at extended stay south in Santa Rosa!" . Anyway if your just a traveler this place is good. Came here for Pliny the Younger, so we just needed a place to lay our heads. The room wasn't the cleanest, but it worked for what we needed since we weren't going to be in the room for long. The bed and pillows weren't very comfortable and there was some kind of sticky stuff on the night stand. The best thing about this room was the kitchen - full size fridge, stove if we had needed it, etc. It would also have been nice if the curtains closed all the way too rather than have a crack of sunlight come in, or allow people walki... read more

Not happy with price and cleanliness I booked 3 rooms with Extended Stay due to a wedding we were going to that was close to that area. I was disappointed in the smell of 2 of the rooms. One room smelled like cigarette smoke and the other smelled of vomit. For the price of the rooms, you would think they could afford to have the carpets professional cleaned. I do not think I will be staying at this hotel again if I were in the area.
