Sleepless/restless night Very dirty room-large bleach spot on the carpeting as you entered. Hair on the pillow. Worn out-bathroom needed caulking.....grab and go breakfast? Really? Skimpy. Above the heating cooling system which rumbled off and on all night. A horrible night.

You never know what you will get I have stayed at Extended Stay hotels in the past with no problems. This time, in the Farmington Hills, Mi hotel, there were several. The room above mine leaked water into my bathroom, down the ceiling to the door frame, down both sides of the door frame and unto the floor and carpet outside the bathroom. booked this hotel for 2 weeks and after the first couple of days, my employees begged me to change their hotel because this hotel was so bad. So I cancelled this reservation and booked them a new hotel for the remainder of their trip. The hotel did agree to give us a refund which was the only positive thing about this hotel.

room alert!! do not stay in 223 Hotel is very old & in much need of renovation! Sinks badly patched, cabinets peeling. The first night we were in 223 --right over the mechanical room, The motors came on every 2min.--we did not sleep all night! Front desk staff tried to help us & moved us the next day. Manager knows about 223--we met others who were given that room their first night. For the price, you can stay at other newer places!

Power outage at home required pet-friendly hotel Our electricity and heat went out for several days, so we unexpectedly needed to find a hotel near home that would allow our 2 cats, and for a reasonable price. The rate was reasonable and they only charged $25 for each cat, per night. The room itself was barely passable. There was a reclining chair with stains all over it, and it was stuck in the extended position. The room was clean. The remaining features were horrible. We will never stay again to any Extended Stay America Hotels.
