Fine Hotel, good location, poor map dire Hotel and staff was fine, rooms clean, beds comfortable. Minor inconvenience - no coffe-pot. Big inconvenience - location was not where it appears on map, no directions (expressway exit, local landmarks)noted on hotel info; would have been helpful.

Close to highways and Duke Univ Cozy and clean, it was five minutes from Duke U, and seconds from I-85. It was also very affordable and I would stay here again.

"No Thanks" Guests who stay less than 5 days are not allowed housekeeping. The front desk clerk will give you a thin plastic garbage bag to put your used towels inside of to bring to front desk where you collect fresh towels. A smelly and unprofessional sight for new travelers to see while checking in at a tiny front office. The room "smelled" as you entered and you pause for a moment in curiosity. For an overnighter, just fine! This hotel was in a great location, plenty of places around it. It is older and a little run down. You get what you pay for. Room was comfortable, shower was clean, just older. Front desk help was very nice.

Great price Property is old and definitely needs work. Room, however, was clean and stay was pleasant. Would go there again.

Smokey smell unavoidable Our (non-smoking room) smelled very smokey. We had to switch rooms twice, and this only temporarily solved the problem. The main issue was that the air-conditioning in take vents were on the balcony, and guests frequently smoked there, causing the air-conditioning pump smoke in the room. Also our sheets had a dubious stain - luckily we had our own sheets we could use.
