I recommended it! This building is brand new, and tucked away next to an interstate road. When I first got there, I was booked on the smoking floor because they ran out of rooms in the in the non-smoking sections.. The lady upfront assured me there were super clean and I would not notice the smells. When I got to the first rooms, it wasn't cleaned yet... I went downstairs, and they issued me a 2nd room...Same story... Great thing is, the African American girl working the front desk that night was AWESOME(THIS IS ON 1/01/16).... read more

Great value for a good hotel stay I like to save money when I travel. This is the place to stay to save. There are no frills and I like that. Good cable tv, very new hotel, very clean, very friendly and accommodating staff. There's a kitchen too so you can save even more by cooking instead of eating out. I will stay at Value Place again when I visit the Ft Lauderdale area.

Decent hotel, horrible staff! When I called the front desk to get assistance with my bags, I was questioned if I ever stayed at a hotel before because that is not a service that is offered.

Nice but still need to clean more My overall stay was nice. You get the breakfast with toast, bagels,waffles, yogurt, muffins, oatmeal, coffee & tea. So that's nice. Nice friendly staff. But I wanted my sheets changed and supposedly they did. But They actually didn't because when I pulled my fitted sheet down to exposed the mattress and the pad on top of the mattress it was covered with all types of hair. I almost threw up. Comfortable!!! The stay was comfortable. The hotel is practically new so everything was very clean. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful. But we had a few inconveniences compared to what we are used too. The front desk was not open 24 hrs like regular hotels. Also the room had no iron and iron board. You have to request it from the front desk and return it when you are done. A little annoying because the front desk didn't open until 10am. There is no daily cleaning service either. Overbooked. Left me without options sleeping in an airport. Rude at the front desk. It's not just that they couldn't help me. I get that there were no rooms, even though I had a reservation. But the cruelty of their demeanor during the encounter was unforgivable

We have stayed at several Extended Stay America properties over the years and this is clearly the worst. No utensils, no heat in 30+ degree weather in Florida. The parent company and the state need to intervene. Expedia should not have this property on it's site.It does not speak well for it's brand or for Expedia. I could say more but you get the picture.
