Dirty Hotel The room was very dirty when I arrived. It was a mini apartment with a kitchen. There was food or something caked in the handle of the refridgerator, the front of the oven looked like it had been kicked in. The cabinet doors hung crookedly. The light in the living space was burnt out. Just horrible Upon arrival we received horrible service. The hotel smelled like cigarrettes as soon as we walked in. The receptionist was not attentive nor did she look clean. My room was paid in advanced through Hotels.com but there was no room available when we arrived. I was told I would get a refund but three days later still no money back. We had to find another hotel for the night. I wound up calling Hotels.com about my refund to finally get this cleared up. Just a horrible experience. I will never use Hotels.com or Ex... read more

Convenient northern Newport News Hotel to I 64 Room and kitchenette were ok but small. The lobby and hallways are badly in need of a renovation.

Go Out For Breakfast The room was fairly clean & secure. But the quality of breakfast food and drink in the lobby left something to be desired.

Highly Recommended!!! Hospitality at the reception desk was outstanding. My wife and I had a queen deluxe room and it was very clean when we checked in - no foul odor. The receptionist let us check in before 3pm so we could keep our stuff inside and not have to drive around with everything! This place is very well located in a serene environment and close to restaurants, malls, parks, just to name a few. The bed was also very comfortable! Will come back here anytime we get a chance.

Excellent sleeping My friends and I came down for labor day weekend for my birthday and had a great time. The room was great and we all slept like babies...the beds are fantastic. I only wish the continental breakfast was actually a continental breakfast. Granola bars and fruit didn't make the cut for us so we ended up going elsewhere for breakfast. Convenient to Sonic, McDonalds, and Wal-Mart.
