Family value in a Safe & Convenient location A nice no-frills hotel. All was well on our 4 night stay except for the boring limited "grab & go" breakfast (same packaged muffins, granola bars, instant oatmeal and fresh oranges & apples everyday. The reviews that we read had us nervous - but we were only looking for a place to sleep while we tourist-ed and visited our son at For Eustis. East Coast Nice, Better than Econo Lodge in Toano Va There were Bed Bugs in A Room that Ours Guys stayed in and they left the Can of Bug spray in The room Trash can .
Helpful desk staff, poor maid service Late night check in was friendly, quick, and easy. Room and bath were dirty even though they appeared to have been cleaned at quick glance. Cleaned bath and changed bed sheets ourselves. Desk staff helped provide clean sheets and blankets. Old moldy loaves of bread were left on kitchen cabinets. Room was OK after we did proper cleaning.
Quick trip The room was clean but had a horrible odor. The toilet was dirty, I had to get lysol wipes to get off the mess.
