The hotel was dirty with bugs all over the place checkef out very early.

Close to airport No amenities. Smoke alarm went off in the middle because too many people smoking in room. No shampoo, etc. I was very disappointed! I will stay with friends or family for my next visit to DC.

Homestead Washsingtpn The room stank of old cigarettes even though I booked a non smoking room. The TV remote did not work and the manager did not want to bring me another. There is no daily room cleaning. Many shabbily dressed Spanish speaking labor types hanging around the walkways. The managers said the roms were cleaned "once a week." Overall: A bad choice except for location to Dulles Airport.

the homestead suites has fire alarm problems out of the 4 nights that i stayed in this hotel the fire alarm went off 3 times. twice during the middle of the night and once around 4pm. when i asked about this at the front desk i was told it had been happening for some time and the repairman had fixed the problem then at 10:30pm that night it went off again. i will tell you thats not something you can sleep thru. there was no fires or smoke during these times as i walked around outside while the alarm was going. the intranet s... read more

Stay here only if you need to The place has a small kitchen, fridge and stove. It is ideal if you need a place to stay. It is not meant for business travelers. There is no shampoo in the room. The other residents were shady and it didn't feel overly safe.

I wouldn't recommend to a lady at all - why not good for a lady? sensation of safety: your door is streight to the parking lot (no corredor), i.e., anybody from outside could knock on your door anytime... - room was "apparently" cleaned - smoke smell, although I chose non-smoking room in my reservation - sheets smelling "dust" - toilet paper very cheap / bad quality - no shampoo!!! - $5 fee to get wireless internet - AC was very noisy in summary, cheap hotel, good due to the location closed to IAD only, if so, and nothing el... read more

Management Hard To Find! Had problem with iron that ruined a pair of pants, and was unable to gain access to laundry room. Answer was "manager not here cannot make decision". Some language issues made it harder. Planes from Dulles Airport fly over at night. Room was OK for price but service could definitely be improved

Homestead in Sterling/Dulles - Do Not Stay Well, from the moment we walked in the door to the office the clerk wasn't pleasant. We were only staying for one night and we asked about the ice machine, we were advised there was no ice machine on the premises, but that we could use our ice trays in our freezer. Again, we had just checked in, it was known we were only staying one night, so not enough time for the ice to freeze. (Rude). And to add icing to the cake...in order to get wireless for the laptop, there's an extra charge... read more
