My room was clean but hallways and elevator was gross and smelly

Staff was very friendly, we were told to come to the front desk if we needed anything like toilet paper for example. Whenever we went to the front desk no one was to be found, even during the intial check in we sat around waiting for someone to come and help us. Rooms were dirty and definitely could use a little cleaning.

Asked for a smoke free room due to health condition. Whole hotel smelled like an ash try!!! Disgusting!!
