Rather stay at the YMCA! During the night, someone pulled a fire alarm. Had to wait through an extremely loud alarm until the fire dept arrived to turn it off. Next morning staff in the lobby eating while no coffee in either of the 2 large dispensers. Then back to room and NO hot water to shower. Packed quickly and got out of there in a hurry!! Don't stay here!!

Smoking issues Ventilation system allows non-smoking rooms to become smoking rooms. Unfortunately, if you really need a fresh room, don't count on it here.

Very little sleep tonight Parking appears to be limited and it took 10 minutes just to find parking. No stopping area by the registration entrance. Toilet water overflowed and flooded floor after first flush. Major complaint was the quietness... there was none. We could hear conversations from rooms down the hall, as far as 3 rooms. One could hear the TV from other rooms. Conversations taking place in the hallways could be heard as if the people where in our room. People partying until early morning. Disappointing The entire hotel smells like a dirty ash tray. You could open a window to help deal with the smell, but the screens are torn or missing. Cigarette burns in the furniture and comforters, and a few of the towels were severely stained. Pretty disappointing.

decent The hotel was decent. Amenities need to be in the room with out request like shampoo and hair dryer. Breakfast could have been a lot better. No coffee was provided in the room. This was very inconvenient. Not worth the price. Besides the inconveniences the room was clean.

very minimalist - you get what you pay for Hotel was not great, but we also did not pay very much for it. It was only about 10 minutes from the beach which was nice. Rooms were very minimalist....had to ask for shampoo (did not have conditioner!) and a blow dryer. Bed and pillows were hard as rocks. Room was hot. Rooms and hallways smell like a variety of weird cooking concoctions.

Never again!!! The entire 3rd floor smelled horrible. Our room was no exception. No pots and pans to cook with. Upon check in I was told that dishes were not in the room but that u could fill out a list of things I wanted and coke get them from the front desk. No thanks, those items should be in the room. You had your chance extended stay, but there are too many other hotels to pick from. My family and I will never be back.

Beware The location is good to reach the historic district in Wilmington and also Carolina Beach, but there are several other similarly priced hotels in the area that I would choose next time. If you are a non-smoker like me, you will hate it...ashtrays in all of the rooms and I had to wash all of my clothes when I got home to get the smoke smell out. There was no stopper in the bathroom sink, no shower liner in the shower, mutliple cigarette burns on the mattress, etc. A guy in front me at the desk asked for his monthly rat... read more

Worst Experence EVER This place was a nightmare from the moment we arrived. The concierge told us that we had already checked in and someone had taken our room. Then he realized that he had checked us in early to be proactive and had forgotten- the total opposite of proactive. We asked to use restroom we were told that there are no restrooms in the lobby for guest! Eventually we entered our room to find the dresser drawers sticky with brown liquid, a broken sink, remote control with no batteries, and the phone DID NOT WORK. ... read more
