Within one minute of confirming my reservation on their website I received a call from Wendy. She called to ensure my reservation was correct and to answer any questions I had. I arrived later that day, meeting both Wendy. who was extremely helpful and very friendly. The units are all on one story, very clean, and very convinient. I've will recommended Extra Space Storage to both family and friends, all due to their great attitudes and service.

They shaded me, after rent went up they kept charging me almost to $1,000 after I was trying to make payments but because of my condition which I was going through cancer plus going through chemo I had no choice but to move out, I have nobody to help except me and my 3 kids we were trying to move but Anthony and Austin were putting it off to take my belongings out, I had to call upper management but they don't give a shit about anything except money and that's all they care about! I rented a unit and just a little over a month later it was broken into and half my stuff was stolen. When making the police report the officer said "This place sucks, we're here all the time" I also learned after this that my unit had no cameras on it. Be careful renting a space here.

Ongoing Roach Infestation - No Resolution I rented a unit at Extra space storage at 1705 s state college blvd Anaheim, Ca 92806, in September 2025 and reported a roach infestation immediately. I was told an exterminator would come, but no follow-up was provided, and when I returned in October, the infestation was still present. I have contacted management and corporate multiple times without resolution. My unit is unusable and my belongings are at risk. Do not rent here. I got a 10X10 unit starting price at $120 on 8/2024 within 3 months they increase the rent by 100% with no notice. I called them and they aggreed to have me at $164 they raised my rent again in May to $250!!! This place is ridicolous and absurd they have no reasoning and no contracts it is month to month here! Save your money and go elsewhere best believe I'm moving out and taking my buisness elsewhere I work in customer service and take price in my customers but these people all they care about is increas... read more

Not a safe storage facility in my opinion! Lots of shady people walking around that may be homeless or using drugs. Storage areas smell like drugs. Unit given to me was filthy and covered in bugs. I'll be looking at a newer and better managed facility.

First time a rented a space here everything went great. Was told they would prorate last month if move out early, which they did. Second time I rented a unit I was told the same thing but they wouldn't refund my money that I paid ahead even though I moved out 2 weeks early. I'll be finding a new storage place.

I was kicked out of this facility because of unknown reasons never explained. They said they weren't renewing my lease and said I had a month to month lease so my last lease(?) was .. idk I'm sure they don't know either. I have been banned from all ESS locations worldwide because of this location. Ignorant staff makes this corporation unreliable and a must avoid.
