Horrible company to deal with during the COVID-19 outbreak, do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere for your storage needs. I lost my job in March and I've been dealing with my local office, they claim that they have no control or ability to work with me on a settlement to vacate or any other possible accommodations. The guys that work here are nice but the corporate rules are so bad. They continually raise the rent on you. If you fall behind, God forbid, they want to make it impossible to catch up. Partial payments accepted, however it won't stop the sale of your whole life. They will just sell your stuff. In less than a year, my 5x5 went from $50 per month to $85 per month. Weirdos. Very expensive. All my stuff was filthy. I removed some stuff and left property and they called me asking me about what I had left behind. That's when I got the rest of my crap and closed the account.

It's a SCAM! They use a low price to lure you in and then a few months later they raise your rate with only 30 days notice. They won't give you a reason why they say it's due to "demand" and it will happen within the first 1-4 months of being there! Be aware!!
ATTN: they lure you in with a low rate and then jack up the price on you. Haven't even been there 6 months and they raised the rent $15 more per month and said they couldn't do anything about it. Horrible service. Go elsewhere.
Am I pleased with my experience with Extra Space; the answer is "NO". I have occupied at least two of the largest spaces with these two properties (State College/Adams St) sense I believe 1990 or there about. During that time the properties did however change hands. However, my last experience here just a few days ago was not at all pleasurable or professional. The absolute worst storage place ever High rental rates and poor customer service They will raise your rental rate after a few short months They may look warm and friendly on the outside But trust me they are terrible Rent elsewhere
