This is absolutely the WORST storage facility that I have ever used. After renting the unit for a reasonable rate they more than doubled it a few months later. Jeremey the manager is horrible to work with and compeltely unprofessional. He refuses to help customers and makes the process as difficult as possible. He refuses to ever remove any fees as a courtesy. He cut my lock off without any notice of when it would be cut then charged me for it then charged me for it. DODGE THIS STORAGE UNIT @ ALL COSTS!!! I was paying for this location for about a year and somebody picked my lock & I lost my PS4, my PS5, and a MIDI keyboard I don't wanna sound like I'm pointing fingers or nothing but there wasn't any method of entry and my lock was still intact so it had to have been one of the employees or it could have been somebody from the neighborhood right next to the facility long story short DO NOT GET THIS STORAGE UNIT!!

BEWARE! They offer good rates in the beginning then double your rate after couple months! The staff is trained in language to belittle you about the price hikes. They are not good people

DONT RENT AT THIS STORAGE SPACE !!! I rented here for a short time. My storage got broken into through a vacant space next door. The storage walls are made of drywall. Not a secure space. The insurance paid me a check but violated for sure. I think it's an inside operation.

COMPLETELY DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES. I just got a notice that the rent on my space is going up by 50% after renting for 3 months. I called thinking an error had been made... but then was told that since the units are rented month to month, they evaluate what the going rate is and increase every month if they are currently renting units for more money. Beware of working with this business. When I signed up I was unaware their lease terms are month to month and this allows them to arbitrarily raise their prices quite significantly. My rate was raised from $123 to $237 and they simply notified me via postcard without reason. This is roughly a 100% increase month over month after my belongings were all jampacked into one of their units. I recently had most of my valuables stolen from my unit. My incident is not an isolated event, I'd look into other options for storage. Update - I called to look into security footage and was told that I'd be called back later that day, still no word. It's now 5 days later and I've tried calling back and all I get is voicemail.

Hidden fees (req's insurance and rates increased even after I reserved a unit), cold employee, change of gate access with NO email OR call/text notification (wasted a drive b/c gate hrs are now 6-8 instead of 6-10pm). Just some of the things to look forward to at this location.

do not rent space from Extra Space Storage Point Loma San Diego CA they have raised my price over 40% a year. shady business model and one that takes advantage of people. found a place nearby for a bit less that does not have this reputation and will move
