Updating this please do not park your trailer/boat/rv here. We tried finding another spot after our last round of break in issues and anything that was available was triple the cost so we put ourselves on the waitlist at some places and thought that management might address this issue and we could wait it out. (Side note we did call to discuss as asked in the response below and basically the person said ok I'll note this and we will call you back and never got a call back.) I am extremely disappointed. I feel I was hustled by this company. I found them in May. They had a deal where the first month is free. When I asked them about the first month being free they said it would cost me more money and I should stick with the $108 a month for the storage. 3 months later they send me a notice stating my storage is going up by $200 a year. They suck you in with a low price then increase it because they know it's going to cost more money transfer to a new storage company. Do not go to this business. It... read more

Don't be deceived, once they got your stuff they will jack up the price as much and as often as they can. After you spend your time moving your stuff in, they think they can just charge more for no reason. The way they do it is worse. You will get email notifications once a month about payment but not about pay increases. They try to slide that under. Very bad way to business. This is unacceptable, I would advise the entire community to punish this behavior by taking your business elsewhere.

This is the worst storage place ever. Their service is awful and they're entirely rude. Unprofessionalism is what you'll get when you come here. Anyone reading this I suggest you take your money somewhere else. Don't waste your time and money!
They continue to raise the rent, automatically charging my card. When I've gone in to the office, I've been told someone will call me back with no follow up. So I followed up and had them say they would reduce it to the internet rate since the elevator wasn't working for a few months, but the higher charges on my credit card kept happening (about 25% higher). I started out loving Extra Space Storage. I have used them twice in different places, it was affordable and the unit was easy to access and the people would always say hi as I drove in they were very friendly. Then it got a little weird. I feel the need to write this review so this wont happen to anyone else. I moved from California and left my stuff in the storage unit. Not a safe place to leave your stuff in storage. Security gate broke early in the week and its been open all week and into the weekend. Ending up with my boat that we stored there for 15 years is now stolen. Staff doesn't seem to care they took 12 hours to call me after they noticed my boat was apart of a very large heist there. Several boats and trailers stolen over the week of the gate broken. You figure they would fix the gate asap or have a secruity guard sitting there but nothing. AGAIN...raising my Rent. But hey, never fear...I found one at $75 a month in Allied Gardens, closer to my MV home...but this time, I asked them in advance: "How many times can I expect a rental rate increase, because ESS has raised mine 3 times now!?" ...They said NEVER...oh Giggity!! Guess I'll be moving there SOON! NOT Happy with Extra Space at ALL...and I have really NEVER been blown away from the weak frowning customer service I get from those men there!
BEWARE! DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!! NOT SAFE! We got broken into twice and the people working here just said "Oh Yeah that happens, sorry!" Someone picked our locks, not once but twice! We were only planning to rent for a few months! Only reason I came here was because I used them once before, but it was under a different company!
