I inherited two very large storage units after my father's death..... That coupled with everything else that tags along with a death just added so much weight to my shoulders. The staff have been extremely kind and patient with fielding all of my questions. When I've asked for suggestions they gave me several options, all from an understanding and genuine place. I had a very good experience calling in and also getting set up in person here at extra space. James helped me get set up with a 5x5 unit that was actually ended up being more space than I needed. (Not complaining) He also looked in the back for a more affordable padlock which was much appreciated. To be honest I didn't want to have to rent a storage space but life right? The staff with extra storage made the process super easy. I would say the whole experience was beyond what I expected. Thanks

I was originally headed for the storage place down the street and came across Extra first, I thought "why not?!" It would be easier to access. So glad I did! Nice property, all level and David the manager lives on the property. David was so nice and took the time to answer all my questions. They have everything you need right there in the office if you have forgotten anything and they don't over charge. Unit prices are reasonable. I'm very glad I took the time to check it out.

David the Manager was very helpful and this storage unit is in a great location. Being able to have a code to get in, and the hours are great so we can access our unit any time. It's much nicer to be on our own time as opposed to only office hours time. Thnx

Kudos to manager David Mena. Pleasant, helpful, gave me a great price and fast service. The experience was simple and easy. Property is level and very secure!! I am recommending this site to my friends!

Location is good, I like that everything is ground level. I love the access hours, probably the earliest and latest opened (more than any other storage in oceanside). Staff are friendly and answer all and any questions. Very patient and they give you a tour. The truck they let you barrow is pretty old an janky. The building looks kind of old as well. My only complaint is the lighting sucks, storage doesn't have a light bulb inside to check or look for items so If you're going there a flashlight is needed. My other complain... read more
