Don't get me wrong the staff is nothing short of great to work with. I just believe their pricing practice is absolutely ridiculous. They lure you in with a really decent rate as long as you prepay for 4 months. Ok great. Come renewal time guess what? They jack up the rate 50%. Can you prepay another four months at the current rate? no you can't. I was very happy with the customer service however, they don't have the same service anymore! I spoke to an employee who said the manager can help, but they didn't wanna help putting it on the system.
Uncommunicative, Non-responsive, Misleading, & Fraudulent Company! We called multiple storage company's & decided to rent Units 145, 439 & 494 from Extra Space in San Ramon for what seemed to be a fair monthly rate. After only two months we received notice that our monthly rate would be drastically increasing. Honestly I never write reviews, but I'm making an exception because people should know. I signed for a particular web rate for a space. Three months later received a notice of a 100% percent increase. After calling corporate, the district manager James called me and made an offer to reduce the rate, but not back to the rate I signed up for. Hi, my name is Rodrigo Diaz. I was more than thrilled at the ease of moving in. Smoothness if paperwork, clean, everyone and everything was hunky dory. After moving in it was still unorganized. I Bagan to resort my belongings. Property manager comes and tells me why am I hiding and that I could not be in the unit hiding...then rushed to look inside the unit only to find nothing. PROS Facility - the entire facility is new-ish/modern, very well maintained, clean, including the office. You see staff actively cleaning, sweeping, and taking care of the facility. Staff - I believe Jewel is the manager, and the one who I interacted with the most. She is genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. After calling the customer service as the business owner directed, someone from the district reached out, basically just repeated what we've already known and didn't offer any help on the case. It's extremely frustrating and makes me think customers are worthless to them.

I was looking into renting storage so I stopped by to get information and I was surprised by their manager's superior attitude. "I've been here 14 years," so what? Apparently it didn't improve your customer service skills. I asked for a brochure but she didn't know what that was? The property seemed ok but I never got the chance to see it because I was not offered to go look at a space. I rented somewhere else in Dublin.

I will NEVER rent from these people again. They have raised the rent 2 times in less than a year!!! When i first got the unit I thought I would have that rate for a year at least before they raised the rent, but raising it 2 times in less than a year!?!? They say that they raise the rates due to competitive rates in the area but will they lower my rate if competitor rates go down? NO they WON'T!!! If I treated my customers like that, I wouldn't have any left!! Extremely unhappy with these owners!!
