Offer Reserve online option saying last unit, don't let it get away then call and confirm when your coming in. Show up with a Rented Truck and unit rented to someone else So I end up having to rent a larger unit then I need and paying more for it or go to a further away location which would have meant an additional day for the truck. 90 days and I receive a rent Increase notice. Don't rent from here ever Very disappointed with how this operation is run. I moved my inventory to this location just under a month ago. I expressly told them that I would be using the storage for business. There were and still are many items that I have in stock that are not properly inventoried and I have been spending more time there than even I had wanted. Renting for 3 months and they raised my rent by $15.00! Me thinks that this is a VERY large increase! They get you in at a low rate and then hit you with the increase. You went through the work of putting your stuff in their storage unit and the thought of having to relocate to another storage facility is something most of us just don't want to do. So Extra Space Storage counts on the fact that we will accept the increase rather than move everything again. LOSERS!

Watch out after 5 months they do increase your monthly rate by around 20 %. They legally cheat. It is in the agreement that they can increase rate anytime. So they do it after 4-5 months.

Shady business. It's been about 4-5 months since I've been a Extra Space customer. I just received a notice in the mail that my monthly rate will be increasing from $147 to $167 month---that's nearly 14% ! Funny they never mention that when you sign up. Avoid this place or make sure that you are aware that they're going to gouge you after you sign up. A 3-5% rate increase is expected after a year but ~14% after a few months? I'll be looking elsewhere and moving before the rate increase is effective on Oct. 30th.

I just put my items in storage at Extra Storage Space in Nov. In one month my rental rate went up over 30%!!! When I called to talk to someone about such an excessive increase, they tell me that the first payment in November was a "special" rate. I asked where in writing was that indicated. They said it did not exist in writing. That it would have been mentioned to me verbally. I said it was not. Need a storage unit went to extra storage because at time felt it was cheapest and convienant but customer service was horrible. Manager David is a young kid who has no customer service skills. He acted in a rude and unprofessional manner to me. So i cancelled and will be going elsewhere.

Renter beware! We were all set to store our stuff. We put a deposit on the unit. When we showed up with our stuff thats when they decided to tell us about the extra $10 a month insurance coverage that was mandatory. We canceled and took our things elsewhere where there was no mandatory insurance fee. Very deceptive.
