This place needs Extra safety. The lock (purchased from this facility) was intact but my unit (upstairs) was thoroughly going through by the thieves multiple times. They left with the door locked and the leftover stuff inside the unit. They left without a hurry. I suspect it was done by the insiders. The employees showed no sympathy or surprise, their reactions indicate stealing is a common event there. The location is insecure. Its entry is on a quiet dead-end street. After my initial review I got a reply from "Emily S." asking for me to call so they can learn more about my experience so I called thinking I was going to talk to a manager or a human being but instead all I got was some recording answering service and after going through the whole recording no where on it does it mention or direct you to speaking with someone about the matter at hand. For the 2nd time in 3 months my unit was broken into- this time though- MGMT didn't even secure the unit with a temporary lock- it was left unlocked and open for 2 days as the break in happened on Christmas Day and I wasn't notified about it until late in the day on 12/26. (2022) Add that to VERY regular price increases and you have a terrible experience.

First time using a storage company, they were polite easy to deal with the unit was clean when I moved in, of course I left a clean when I left. Kevin I believe the site manager has always been available by phone or he calls back within the hour amazing customer service. I'll absolutely use them again shit I need "extra space". Roger

My brother and I came here this evening 8/3/21 around 9:40 pm. We were unloading our vehicle and we got everything into my brother's storage unit. Around 10:01 pm , 20 minutes later, I was walking out to my SUV and I was gonna wait for my brother who was still inside. As soon as I walked to my car, I observed a white SUV parked outside of my brother's storage unit. The SUV looked like a Mercedes. Going back to Public Storage! This place is over priced for what you re getting. My roll up door is old and falling apart, The walls are caving in, it's dirty, customer service is bad, my kids can never use the bathroom because it's always filthy! Already complained about all the items listed above and they haven't done anything about it. Public storage is much better. I don't recommend this place to anyone ! All in one It's a crap hole !

No one I spoke with at the facilty today knew who Jim R. (The owner/manager according to this reply?) is. I think it is very unprofessional to give me a generic toll free #, so I will have to deal with the frustration of a phone tree, when I have already dealt with the frustration stress and upset of two break-ins! How about you have someone call me. You can access my account info. My daughter's unit was robbed, as well as others at the same time. No cooperation from the corporation since the robbery regarding insurance coverage and access to her unit is denied with lame excuses. They advertise excellent security and surveillance, but that is not true. She has gone there when the gate is wide open and anyone can enter. Even with a lock on, your unit's door can be opened for anyone to rob. She has tested this on other units. Rent increases are the norm. Customer service not only sucks, but their ... read more

Pretty much all franchise storage facilities are going to be comparable. But something important that needs to be fixed at the facility on Burroughs that I use is MORE HUMANS and better customer care. Aside from the day that I signed up over a year ago in a smaller and very inconveniently located space with no lights when a wonderful woman signed me up and the office was actually open, I've had trouble finding the office open to speak with a human.
