***WARNING* BUYER BEWARE*** We had a storage unit here for $75. They randomly let us know the price was going to increase to 145. Never did they mention the price increase before. I'm assuming this is what they do to a lot of people so that way they can sell their stuff in storage . Very shady! Stay away by all means.

They did renovations in 4/21 damaged my personal items and raised my rates twice since signing up . I was told insurance was mandatory but it's optional. I've requested cancellation of insurance , Sonia Fleming said she would but never did . I went to the office and said I will not pay for insurance because it didn't cover the damages they have caused themselves . Instead charged me holding my stuff for auction because I refused . After replacing the door on our storage unit you guys failed to inform us as paying customers that our items could potentially be ruined by the dirt, dust, and white film during the replacement process. Go take a look for yourself and see how every item in my unit is now covered in dirt and dust and this is unacceptable! On top of that, I don't even want to be in contact with management specifically Jessica whose attitude has been far from pleasant when dealing with me.

This has to be the worst storage I have ever had in my life & I've had quite a few. I can't understand why everyone says it's so clean here. The only thing that I see that's clean is the outside which I will give you that but inside my unit it looks like it was raining dirt there is so much in there all over my stuff. If it wasn't such pain I'd take everything out & go to a better place but I guess I'm just stuck here paying to have my stuff ruined. The unit I was given -- a 10x10 hasn't been serviced in probably 10 years. No one bothered to fix the bent door which makes it extremely hard to close and the door that's so hard to open because of the aging metal, is, I am afraid going to throw my back out. It's the worst unit I've ever rented, and I've rented a lot of storage units. I guess this is all justified because I'm getting a "free month".

DO NOT RENT HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR BELONGINGS! Someone cut off my lock, pilfered through all my belongings, stole about 10 plastic bins (Large size, 3 of them on wheels) and replaced my lock with one purchased from Extra Space!??!! I believe the dirtbag thieves either have or had a unit there because when I emptied out my unit, I began to look around and noticed that many of the pull ropes on storage roll-up doors were lined up exactly the same. Not liking their rate increases 4 months into moving in and then another rate increase 7 months later...boooooo

Lets say you purchase your OWN lock, from anywhere, and put it onto YOUR storage unit. They will put a green sticker saying "Extra Space Storage" on it, that is really hard to remove. I have explained to them that it is my property, and I did not ask for this type of "security". They insisted that it is "policy", and "sorry", and "here is a complimentary lock" which also gets the lovely sticker put on it. This is what pisses me off the most.
