So I have had my unit for a year now (not by choice) first off I should not be paying $175 for a unit as small as it is plus they just went up to $200 while the 175 was overpriced af already they are entirely overpriced and I will be moving storage companies as soon as possible. Ridiculous. the staff is kind but the unit prices suck and my unit looks like a damn tetris piece which is taking out half the space needed.

These people are dishonest, belligerent and unwilling to address their issues. We had a terrible experience with Carmen at the Oakey location as well as with her manager (if you can call her that). I would never feel comfortable storing my belongings at a facility that employed such a clearly unhinged person. The worst experience ever don't ever ever ever use this place. My rv was stolen from their and the don't give a Crap or did anything to help me. Just saying call my insurance. They wouldn't even give me a refund for the months I paid while my rv was stolen. Basically told me F-Off so F this place..

When I first got my storage, I was paying $190 a month and now it has gone up to $351 a month and I'm expecting another raise soon. I am moving my stuff to another storage soon. This company is greedy and poorly managed.

I do not recommend this storage facility. After 2 months Extra Space raised my rates 100%. I called the company and talked with John. I offered to change spaces to a cheaper unit. He said the company doesn't like that and called it unit hopping. I think a company that raises your rates 100% after 2 months is not ethical.

I went in at 10:45am on 1/21/2024 to possibly rent a unit and the guy at the front desk would not show me what the unit looked like when I asked. They just lost out on a customer because he was too lazy to show me.

Vulnerable to theft, felt unsafe. Pros: The place is fairly clean and the pads worked. Cons: I signed up on a Saturday so that my partner and I could go in my Sunday off because the website said the lock would be ready inside, but when we went to drop a few things off there was no lock, and no employee was there to help (office hours are closed on Sundays). I do not recommend this storage facility. I have been a customer for 5 years, and I am a military retiree living off of my pension. They raise your rates every 9 months by a lot. They do not even have the decency to give you a year like an apartment. There is no loyalty even though I am considered a long-term renter. My latest rate hike will take me to $608 a month. Rent is "reviewed" (aka raised) every few months. My monthly rent has gone from $70 to $120 in less than a year. I understand that fees aren't going to stay the same forever, but raising the price twice within 11 months and almost doubling what was originally agreed on is just ridiculous.
