Would rate less than 1 star if I could. Manager is the worst manager of any storage facility I have ever done business with. Zero customer service skills. Never using this company again.

Just move in. Great facilities and supportive staff. Bad note, the price during the online reservation didn't mention anywhere the mandatory insurance (+ 18% on the total price). They let you know just when you are there :(:(

They are absolutely not customer service oriented and care nothing about the customer. They get you into a unit and its a new type of bait and switch. On my 3rd month I got a rate increase from $125 to 205. How does anything jump 64%. Calls upon calls and visit upon visit and I was finally explained about doing a transfer. Special favor allowing me to have the transfer completed on 10/12 and transfer on 10/15 at $69 a month. Promotional price never disclosed!!MICE MICE MICE!! #1 I was quoted one price and was never told it was a promotional price and my price would go up after 3 mo #2 October 10th 2022 went to get my 2 bags of winter clothes out of my storage unit and when I went to open the bags on October 15th there were MOUSE DROPPINGS all in my clothes!! They CONSTANTLY raise their rates after you sign up. They will not re-rate you back down to match their own prevailing lower rate(s). You literally have to move out and move back in to get the current lower prevailing rate(s). It’s a racket. I went from $290 a month to $147 a month by moving out and back in to the same exact 10x20 space.

I wasn't sure how close this unit would be to house but being a Life Storage patron in the East I had to check out this one in Cedar Hill and was I correct. It's only miles from the house, just perfect. I reserved my storage unit online, which seem to makes things a lot easier for sure when checking in. I was greeted by Amanda Taylor the Store Manager who was very, very nice and more than helpful. If you don’t mind LS raising the rent by 20% after 2 months then the place is ok - Thornton, CO. They have the ability to raise your rent at anytime with 30 days notice which is standard in the industry. However, the 20% increase is unreasonable and overpriced compared to the market. They bank on you not wanting to move all your stuff. We needed a second unit and the pattern repeated itself. Life Storage on 1625 S Ashland in Chicago IL is such a clean and updated facility. The Manager Tyesha is 100% awesome. She cleans that location spotless and always has a smile on her face. Explained everything in detail and helps you understand. I highly recommend this location.
