Staff is amazing: warm, caring, invested in your recovery. I was there for a broken hip and they taught me how to climb stairs the second day! Everything they teach is designed to get you back to your life as soon as possible: they even have a fake car to practice getting in and out of! My 97 yr old dad was sent here after a stroke. We heard from his Milford hospital roommate (who had also suffered a stroke the year previous) of his wonderful care at Fairlawn. So, with only other reviews online to go by, we decided to give Fairlawn a try. He was there for almost 2 months and let me just say that the PT, OT and speech therapists were AMAZING and compassionate and they enthusiastically got my dad up and going. We did not expect his recovery to go well given the degree of his stroke and his advanced age. He ... read more

It will be 4 years this coming March after a horrific car accident that I was a patient at Fairlawn Rehab for 2 weeks. I so often think of the GREAT quality of care I received from the aides to the nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, docs, etc. The nurses were so caring and fun to be around. They made me feel like I was at home with family. I am so thankful.
