Do not go here. My husband had 7 falls in two weeks. Finally after the third trip to the ER, u Mass admitted him. Three days later we were at Fairlawn. my husband has many issues, balance being on of them. Long story short, I asked what my options were and I was told that he would not be sent home unless it was safe. He came home Saturday. Fell again on Wednesday, cut his head, another trip to the ER. I'm so angry. Saturday night I looked at the notes in his u mass portal. There was a progress note that said he was a hi... read more

Worst place ever! First you start out with a very rude person greeting you behind the front desk. ....... Had a family member get placed there and we requested a private room because of his condition they said no and put him in a room with a patient that had COVID . 2 days after he contracted covid they told us they were discharging him and we needed to come pick him up by noon time the following day. When I inquired about taking him home with COVID the nurse manager on floor 1( Kathy )told me to wear a mask and have the ... read more

I'm writing this review on behalf of my father whom is staying at this place. He told me today they served chicken salad for lunch that was still frozen. He tried to send it back with no success. They couldn't be bothered to give an 88-year old man a lunch that is not frozen. There are other incidental stories that he told me besides this. It would seem that there's not much difference between a medieval asylum and Fairlawn.
Business response:
Hi Russell, we're sorry to hear about your father's experience and would like to learn more about the situation. Can you please email feedback@encompasshealth.com with additional details?

Is there an option for no stars? If you want your loved one to live don't sod them here. That's dramatic but my grandma was here in 2017 after a stroke and staff left her alone and let her choke. My grandma did not live much longer after we left their facility. I made a yelp just to say this because I heard a happy radio commercial for this hellhole. The windows look like doors. I'm so pissed
