Is there an option for no stars? If you want your loved one to live don't sod them here. That's dramatic but my grandma was here in 2017 after a stroke and staff left her alone and let her choke. My grandma did not live much longer after we left their facility. I made a yelp just to say this because I heard a happy radio commercial for this hellhole. The windows look like doors. I'm so pissed

Absolutely beside myself. My husband has brain cancer, had surgery and needs rehab. After his PT & OT evaluation....we are told "he's too good??? For them to accept him?" What the heck is that? We chose Fairlawn for their reputation. And we're declined. So much for the reputation!

I do not recommend this place it is so irresponsible and not patient friendly. My mother was there for one day and she is a fall risk Pressed on the call light numerous times and nobody came and finally she had to yell for help when I spoke to the nurse supervisor she said it will be taken care of It was not taking care of Do not bring your loved one here this place is not guard the bathrooms are literally a closet. There are numerous things that went wrong in that day that she was there that we had to have her transfee so... read more

My mother was admitted to this facility on a Saturday evening - she had been there 4 years prior and we were all very happy with her progress. NOW is a much different story. They couldn't "help" her...on Monday they transferred her back to UMass. We sat in UMass for 7 hours before they transferred her to Memorial. They then called Memorial and said they couldn't take her back. Fine! But when I called on Wednesday to say pack up her belongings I will be coming to get them they were good with that. Do not under any circumstances go here or send a loved one here. They are the WORST! I have a close friend there. In the evening the nurse came in and asked "how to turn the light on"! Really? How comforting for the patient. When he pressed the call button, he watched out his door, at the nurses station where quite a few were gathered chatting and laughing. They ignored his calls! I could go on but, just trust me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
