The host was very friendly and seated us right away- we were seated in a quiet corner. The furniture is dated and worn. The woman that filled the water and was prompt in bringing a plate with a large bread roll. We then proceeded to wait 15+ min for someone to come over- it became kinda funny as my husband and I started to guess who would be the one to acknowledge us. The service was bad took over 90 minutes for my friend to receive her steak. That’s absolutely ridiculous.
I was out for Valentine’s Day dinner. I was seated in the area near the bar, which I understood was not what I picked, but because I was early, that’s where I was sat. That wasn’t the biggest problem. The server was terrible. He never came around to fill my glass with water. I actually had to get up and go to the bar and fill it up myself. Horrendous service!!! When we got there at 7:50pm for our 745pm reservation we were informed that the table was not ready. When we were seated the restaurant was half empty but our table was not ready? The first thing our waiter said to us was that we were out of ribs. The food was small portions and expensive. Service was not great considering the place was half empty. We asked for carot cake for dessert but they were out. We ate at Caesar in windsor canada and the steakhouse there was amazing. Overall disappointing experience at Farradays.
Very slow and confused service. Overall it seemed very unorganized. We wanted pebber sauce..not good we were told and a bottle of Worchester alike sauce was put on the table. My steak did not have a lot.of taste and was lukewarm..the same with the onions and champs. Never again
The place is not bad as long as it isn't busy. If it gets busy they are not adequately staffed to accommodate. Instead of limiting seating they just overwhelm the servers and staff.
One of the worst “ fine dining”experiences” I’ve ever had. We have eaten there before and we’re very happy so we brought some friends along to celebrate a birthday. We sat at the table for nearly 30 minutes before somebody came over. Everybody was complaining about the lack of wait service around us. The hostess told me I couldn’t sit at a requested table as it was for 4 people. I noticed she sat 2 people at that table. We sat in the middle with many people around. The Beer was late, although the waiter was very busy and he compensated for it. We waited 40 minutes for our main meal and noticed others, that came in later, received their food first. The positive note is that the fish sandwich tasted good and the steak was excellent.
Thought it was going to be a high end steak restaurant.. disappointing. Won’t be going back.
