Appetizer was cold, the oyster was over cook, the tartar of my wife was not fresh, the steak was not cook medium rare, was return to come back over cook. Not a very happy 31th of December. Last time we reserve this restaurant. Price of 350$ for a couple was over evaluated.
I asked one question that they would assume osso bucco available as it’s on menu. Nope. Open 1.5 hors they claimed out of it. I tend to ordered prime rib med rare. Nope. It was medium. Not happy. No relief. Screw farradays. Waitress should have been working in a diner. Not a steakhouse. Horrible experience
First time family Holiday meal. Very mediocre food, waited 20 minutes to get a server after we were seated. The wine was great, the food was very mediocre, several dishes had to be returned or replaced, and the service was dreadfully slow. We inquired to see if they were short on Holiday help and were actually told by our server they weren't busy and had plenty of help. The menu us expensive, food was so-so, quite disappointing. Was never asked if we wanted something to drink. Over a half-hour for apps to come out. The meals arrived 5 minutes after apps. Waiter never came by to ask if everything was ok. The overall experience is not very good.
While our server tried her best to her ability to serve us well, the restaurant seemed understaffed and not ready for the medium crowd size. The service was disjointed and chaotic and created a strange ambiance. Our booth was nice but was next to a kitchen exit door which again provided a disturbing ambiance. We were 4 adults seated next to a family whose kids were roaming around and flinging some kind of toy on a rope. Made us feel uncomfortable as that toy could have flung into someone face or eye. The ambiance and spaciousness was nice - the host was friendly and helpful. The food however was absolutely disgusting. I ordered the lobster bisque which I've made and ordered hundreds of times - IT WAS DARK BROWN AND WATERED DOWN with what appeared to be perfect square pieces of some sort of seafood. We had a small table for four people, and the only food that we enjoyed was the shrimp cocktail and the Caesar salad. My friends lobster tail was tough and tasteless. My friends, prime rib was overcooked. My sirloin was also overcooked. My husband had seafood combination that was OK. The server was rude and rushed. Both couples with celebrating anniversaries, and there was nothing celebratory about this evening
They eliminated one price for brunch and eliminated several food items. Three orders for chicken and waffles and all the chicken was under cooked. (YUK!) Food and Beverage needs to step up its game to compete in the casino race in tbe area. I have been a loyal customer for many years and Harrahs so far has been a disappointment. Leaning to take my business elsewhere.
The food was not good at all. It was diner food at best. Ordered the prime rib for $42.00 and it was maybe 1/2” thick . The food runner forgot horseradish sauce. Waiter forgot my salad. Creamed spinach was disgusting and the waiter never bothered to ask if we wanted dessert . I never leave reviews especially bad ones but I wouldn’t go back if the food was free . Unfortunately a bad experience here on our Anniversary
