These guys were very awesome .. The office was super clean... Fast service in and out in less then 30 mins ... And only cost me $60.00.. Thank you for all your help Saturday..
This place and staff are awesome! I am so glad I went there. They are very thorough, and did not take that long at all. Very reasonable prices too.
Apparently they “can’t verify BCBS insurance information on the weekends” so they charge a patient full charges. BCBS has a website and a phone number for providers, working in healthcare I’ve never known an issue of confirming insurance coverage with BCBS. (I confirmed with BCBS after this fiasco too). When called out on making them pay when they have a contract with BCBS, they said they’d file the claim and reimburse when the claim was paid by the insurance company, usually 30 days. My daughter went there in November. Supposedly Fast Med accepts BCBS, but told her they couldn’t verify on the weekend (which is a lie, confirmed by BCBS). They made her pay $120 and said they’d reimburse after they received payment from her insurance. I called today (2/20/23) spoke to a very hateful person who would barely let me speak without interrupting, to tell them the insurance company has not received the claim. Their website says they’re open at 8am and allowed me to book an appointment for 9:45am and they were not open. The door was locked and nobody was in the office.
I was very disappointed with my appointment here. I was diagnosed with The Shingles and she told me I wasn’t contagious when I actually was. She also never told me that one of the meds she put me on I would need to gradual stop taking them as they are hard to get off of, a friend who is a doctor told me I would need to be weaned off of. That isn’t cool.
This is the worst company ever to deal with. Hundreds of phone calls emails and faxes to resolve an issue. Never ever go here or any fast Ed as corporate is just as crappy in resolving issues
