The new design leaves a large, confusing open space. The old design with the "sauce bar" made it clear where the end was. Also, the absence of the white rice cooker, soup and dessert bar leaves a bit lacking. The waitstaff was slow to start out but seemed to get it from there. Also, the bill had suggest tip amounts on it which was great. We split the bill in half and when our card slips were returned, EACH slip still had the suggested tip amount for both. We arrived earlier than our reservations and they were kind enough to let us in early. At first I wasn't sure what to think about the place it was still light outside but it was a little dark inside the restaurant and it seemed more like cafeteria seating than a restaurant. We were a little confused on how the Food Service worked until we went up the first time and then the second time we felt like pros.
