I have refinanced multiple times through Emily and First Colony Mortgage. She has always been helpful and the time it took from first initiating the refinance until closing was the shortest that I have experienced across many home purchases and refinance efforts. I highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for quick, respectful, knowledgeable help in any real estate financing situation.

We started working with Emily on a loan to build our home. After we looked at what was out there in the same price range it was going to cost us to build we decided to buy another home that was only a few years old. Emily was very personable and attentive to our needs I would use her again if we every buy again.

Emily can work wonders and on of the best brokers in the state. She closes quick and is very easy to work with. I recommend her to anyone I know who is buy a home. Also if you feel she is hard to get a hold of, be patient she always get back with you. She is just really busy and when you are one of the best that is to be expected. She did a great job for us and we are very happy.

Emily is tops when it comes to dealing with tricky mortgages. She was very patient in understanding our entire financial history/situation. She handled our VA loan with great panache and timeliness. Emily was recommended to me by one of my coworkers who was also a survivor of the disastrous California real estate market. Emily was so kind, helpful and on top of everything. We had great communication with her, in spite of the distance we had to overcome. She was willing to explain everything in full detail to us, as it was our first home purchase, and she was upfront and honest so we wouldn't receive any "surprises" along the way! I would and HAVE recommended her to many people! You can't go wrong with Emily!

We moved into our new home just one year ago. When we built our new home, Emily worked closely with us and our construction lender to insure that we got the construction lender's need met in a timely manner and, at the same time, that the lock on our long term (take-out) loan remained in place. Jon was excellent from the first time I called to set up an appointment to meet with him. He was very knowledgeable in the home loan process and was extremely organized. He helped us understand exactly what he needed from us and why and broke down the process step by step to make sure we were never confused and completely informed. He also worked quickly in order for us to get into our new home as soon as possible. Working with Jon has been great. I would highly recommend him.
