Jeremy, and his assistant, Austin, were absolutely fabulous to work with. Throughout the entire escrow period, I kept saying to my husband, "When are things going to blow up? This is all going so easy!" The thing is, nothing ever blew up! These guys made the process so smooth. My experience with First Colony Mortgage was excellent from my first contact all the way throughout the loan process. I quickly gained confidence in dealing with them because I always found them to be very responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful in areas that were at times new to me. I was dealing with them by phone and text across two time zones but calls, text messages, and email were always addressed promptly and timelines were always met and I was always kept informed each step of the way. We were referred to Jeremy by a family member who had previously worked with Jeremy. Best decision we made. He walked us through every detail and was seriously so patient with us. He responded back quickly to every question we had and if it wasnt for him and his knowledge, we would have been lost. My wife and I decided on a new build and started the process in January. We were referred to First Colony and were assigned to Emily. She was super helpful in navigating the mortgage process. Emily and her team (mainly Elle) made the process extremely transparent and easy. We closed this month and were super happy with the process.

Garett helped me a lot during the purchase of my first home! He was able to get me prequalified in a few hours so I could make an offer on a home I was interested in. He was more helpful than even my buying agent for general Home buying questions. When it came time to close on the home Garett was very honest with me when the preferred lender had a slightly lower rate. I highly recommend working with Garett. He is easy to work with and will be honest in helping you to get the best deal for you!
